Comfortable Homes for chicken
Having raised our own chickens for years, they’ve become part of our family. And like any animal, they require care and attention which can be a lot of work — especially if you don’t have the right tools and equipment.
Our chicken coops are designed from our experience, and feature proper layouts, security, cleaning areas, and other amenities to help you give your chickens the life they deserve.
Your journey to fresh, homegrown eggs starts now
They’ll love what you’ve done to the place
Making your chickens comfortable in their new home is priority number one. Our coops are constructed with tongue and groove pine floor (optional linoleum upgrade available) for easy clean out. Standard designs come equipped with operable windows and screens, and nesting boxes which are well placed to allow for exterior retrieval of eggs without startling the birds.
For winter warmth, coops feature double bubble insulation in the roof, providing an R4 value.
Modern, rustic exterior finishing
Chicken coops weren’t made to be ugly. At least ours weren’t. We take extreme care when applying finishes, which include a rustic half log trim, solid cedar door, and finished gable and fascia trim.
Run chickens, run
While not required, chicken runs offer added safety and protection for your chickens when you’re not around. If your property allows, your chickens can run free, but are susceptible to both overhead and ground predators, especially at night.
Our coops are equipped with hard wire mesh with holes less than 0.5″ wide to keep out predators capable of fitting through small holes.
A home for more than just chickens
Although we call them chicken coops, these coops are built to house a variety of small animals, including goats and pigeons. Sometimes in the same pen as chickens!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Be Equipped with Top-of-the-Line Incinerating Toilet Solutions?
True to its off-grid design, the Leloo can be equipped with a high-performance incinerating toilet system that reduces waste to a small amount of sterile ash after each use. This eliminates the need for septic systems or traditional plumbing infrastructure.
Each Leloo can be customized with the incinerating toilet of your choice, powered by either electricity or propane, depending on site conditions and operational requirements. The result is a clean, efficient, and low-maintenance solution ideally suited for remote, off-grid, and environmentally sensitive locations.
Do you deliver?
Yes—we do! Our Coopmobile delivers your coop directly to your property, whether you’re in the city or the countryside.
Urban & Suburban Deliveries
For backyard and urban settings, we simply require clear access so our trailer can safely back up to the placement area. Tight spaces, fences, and neighboring properties are common considerations—we’ll review access with you ahead of time to ensure a smooth delivery.
Rural & Country Deliveries
Open land often makes placement easier, but longer driveways, soft ground, or uneven terrain can come into play. Our team is experienced in rural deliveries and can work with you to plan safe access and final placement.
The delivery itself is fast and efficient—the Coopmobile was specifically designed to make unloading and positioning your coop quick and hassle-free.
Why should I raise chickens?
Whether you’re just considering raising chickens or you’ve been enjoying fresh eggs for years, there’s far more to it than breakfast. Chickens are remarkable creatures whose natural behaviors positively contribute to their surroundings. When given the right environment, they help create a more sustainable, balanced way of living.

Custom Add-on
Rope roost & hemp rope
Rope roost (often referred to as hemp rope) creates a more natural feel for your chickens’ feet. They are made from solid cedar bars, wrapped with manila rope. Veterinarians recommend a rope-wrapped roost bar as it helps in the treatment of bumble foot, a common bacterial infection in chicken feet, by allowing the air to flow under your chicken’s feet.
